Commissioned portraits are some of the most important work that I do! Your interest helps keeps me painting!
By hiring me to paint for you, you will RECEIVE a completely one-of-a-kind, intuitive painting of the subject for your choice. I specialize in pet portraits, but have also had the honor of working on baby, engagement and wedding portraits.
How it works/Step-by-Step:

Fill out the form below
You provide photos of chosen subject (see photo requirements below)
Lee will email you back - may request more photos
Lee selects which photo reference works best for a PORTRAIT
Lee will look through the photos to get a feel for the energy of the subject to be painted
You pay the non-refundable deposit
Lee paints for 8-12 weeks
Paint Drying time
You pay the final payment
Lee will ship your new artwork to you
Photo Requirements
Have prepared 5-10 well-lit, clear (not blurry), centered photos where i can see the enitre face
I understand not all photos can be perfect. Please include any you feel really showcase and highlight the personality of the subject to be painted
I understand some subjects maybe have passed over the RAINBOW bridge and there may only be a certain amount or type of photos. Please send as many as you feel meet the requirements to the best of your ability, along with any others you feel will best represent the SUBJECT.

Final 50% payment due prior to shipping your painting
NO REFUNDS OR REVISIONS - Original commissioned paintings are projects created with trust between myself and the client. Leewayz will not refund a painting once completed, and I do not send updates for revisions. My paintings are intuitive, and hiring me means you hire my creative vision.
cancelations - if for some reason you need to cancel the project, your DEPOSIT is non-refundable and will not be returned to you. If you are on a payment plan for the last half of your payment before shipping, your payments are non-refundable and will not be returned to you. If you cancel prior to you final payment, the final payment will be canceled and you will not RECEIVE your painting and any future requests will require payment in-full, upfront.
Please understand I work on my paintings outside of my day job. My paintings take time and require patience and trust from you, my client. I work intuitively and allow the painting to flow out of me as i work. I do not have a dedicated “plan” when starting a new painting. All clients have allowed me creative freedom and that is how I work best. If you have questions about this please contact me DIRECTLY.

What size paintings do you offer?
I offer a variety of sizes and am willing to work with you on what size/shape works best for you, as well as the painting itself. some sizes/shapes of wood panel work better than others depending on the photo reference we choose to work with. For example, if a dog is laying down, a longer/horizontal panel may work better than a square or vertical one.
As a general answer, the smallest painting I will work on is a 12×12 and can work up as large as a 36×36
smaller sizes are offered but not preferred, as more detail can be painted on a larger scale.
I understand not everyone can afford a large scale painting, so smaller, more affordable sizes are available even if not PREFERABLE for painting.
What are your prices?

Commissioned paintings minimum is $600.
Prices are variable and set based on price per inch for one subject paintings.
These prices are tiered, so there will be several sizes to choose from within each tier. Each tier will have a general price rage that will BREAKDOWN as a variable price per Sq. Inch.
For example, the “Small” Tier may offer 4 different sizes, that all equal a similar size per Sq. Inch. That means any size selection in this tier will all be priced at a baseline of $600.
Shipping to the USA is included in your final price. Tax is separate. Any shipping outside the USA will be calculated and billed when the painting is completed to get an accurate price and will be paid by the client prior to shipping.

What if I want more than one subject to be painted?

I am happy to paint more than one subject in your painting! Pricing will go up accordingly, as it will take much more time and work to add an additional subject.
Do your paintings come with a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes! All original paintings will come with a certificate of Authenticity.
Shipping

ALl Shipping to the USA is included in your final price and is not billed separately.
Tax is listed separate.
Any shipping outside the USA will be calculated and billed when the painting is completed to get an accurate price and will be paid by the client prior to shipping.
Customs vs. Commissions

I do not take on custom paintings. Customs are projects where creative direction is taken from the client, and many times rounds and REVISIONS are INVOLVED.
I only take commissions, where you, the client hire me to create a ne-of-a-kind painting in my style with my own creative direction and vision. A commission does not require rounds or revisions; you hire me to paint in my signature style and create a piece of art for you with my unique vision.
Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, I am willing to work with payment plans. 50% non-refUndable will still be due at the start to begin the project, and then we can work out a payment plan for the rest of what is due. All payments must be completed berore Lee will ship your painting.
